Kate and Grady and their extremely relaxed dog Bailey set out with Adele and I on a sunny Sunday evening in Pearce Estate Park to do their engagement photos. I knew I'd have a good time, but I had no idea I'd be sore from laughing by the end of it.
I always do engagement sessions before weddings because it is the best way to make sure you get the best photos on the wedding day. You get to know each other better and you get to work with each other before the busy wedding day.
In the case of Grady and Kate I had actually known each of them for a while before. I grew up in the same neighbourhood as Grady and went to junior high and high school with Kate! So I already knew they were going to be fun, happy people, but I've never really known them as a couple. I am so glad that I do now! They are even more fun together, quick to laugh and always up for anything!
As you'll see we didn't take the session too seriously. I am now even more excited for their wedding at Canyon Meadow Golf & Country Club in September.
Here are a few of my favourites.
